We moved to Botswana in 2003 after working internationally on Mining Projects. We both were raised in Africa and felt that was where we wanted to return too, we were lucky enough to purchase Burnside as a "Green site" which we built into ""Proudly Okavango".
Accommodation
The accommodation is self catering but supplies can be preordered and be waiting for you on your arrival if ordered.

Proudly Okavango is exactly that, with the Chobe bushbuck which roam freely, the amazing birdlife, (including the elusive Pels Owls) the amazing Okavango river at our front door, boat trips and fishing are all available.
The Namibian Mahango Game Reserve is 30 kms away across the border and although small it has amazing wildlife. The Tsodillo Hill is a day trip away and guides are found at the gate telling you amazing stories of old.
