Self-catering accommodation in the Okavango Delta in a private secluded setting overlooking the water. Situated near Namibia Safari Park & Tsodlio Hills is welcome to any guests on their travels through Africa.
All units are fully equipped with linen, towels, cutlery, crockery, fridge, stove and microwave. Each apartment is equipped with private attached toilet and showers and a small patio and strong Wifi.
We are a private secluded farm where you can relax in comfort, whilst overlooking the Samochima lagoon.
We offer boat rides with a qualified guide, or river cruises which can be rented accordingly via contacting us in advance. Beautiful spot for fishing, birding, forest walks and relaxation.
We also have a small splash pool to cool down at the end of the day watching our amazing sunsets...
And to top it off, you may spot a hippo eating the grass at night time!
Absolutely gorgeous slice of nature surrounds you and is a photographer's dream destination!

We offer safety, privacy and serenity on our accommodations. If you have any further additions to safety or concerns prior to your arrival that is required, please contact us accordingly. We have an electric game fence for safety concerns. Hassle free entry is assured (a quick call and remotely allowing you in) upon initial entry and remote keys can be supplied for longer visits.
This truly is the tranquillity of being one with nature. Beautiful sunsets and quiet surroundings. Picturesque setting on the lagoon bank and capacity to enjoying a fresh Braai/barbeque. You've not had true African experience without fishing up tiger fish and bream fresh over the braai.

Due to Shakawe being a smaller town, with limited options, we can offer you to order in food/drinks (at your cost) to be in your accommodation as long as it is ordered 2 weeks prior to arrival.
International clients:
This alleviates food problems at the border for traveller's and overlanders. Certain foods may be not allowed for crossing borders.
Washing of clothes can be facilitated at a nominal cost for extended stays.
